Terms and Conditions
1 Definitions
1.1 Buyer Refers to person who buys or agrees to buy the goods from the seller by signing
the order form.
1.2 Seller Refers to Sophie Benoit.
1.3 Conditions Refers to the terms and conditions of sale as set out in this document by which
both the buyer and seller are bound upon signature of the order form.
1.4 Delivery Refers to the agreed date upon which goods should arrive with the buyer.
Goods can take 10 - 12 weeks to supply. The seller will endeavour to deliver
upon the agreed date subject to receipt of payment of any amount owing by
the buyer.
1.5 Price Refers to the retail price for the goods including VAT at 17.5%.
2 Conditions
2.1 Upon placing the order the buyer agrees to pay a non-refundable deposit equal to 50% of
the agreed purchase price as quoted on the order form. Deposits cannot by transferred to
other goods, and any late payment of the deposit may result in delayed delivery.
2.2 The seller shall not be bound to deliver the goods until all outstanding payment has been
received in full. Cheques must be cleared before delivery can be made.
2.2.1 All goods shall be at the buyers risk as from delivery and the buyer shall be deemed to have
accepted the goods upon final payment prior to the goods being delivered to the buyer.
2.2.2 Goods will not be exchanged once final payment has been received and delivery has been
made.
2.2.3 The buyer agrees to accept the goods upon final payment. Once final payment has been
received the buyer is not entitled to reject the goods.
2.3 Goods are sold as true recreations of any samples supplied to agreed distributors for the seller.
The seller is not responsible for any differences that may occur due to the actions of said
distributors.
2.4 Goods are supplied in one standard size unless expressly agreed by the seller in writing. Any
change to the standard size measurements will incur an additional charge the details of which
will be advised to the buyer before agreeing to the order.
2.5 Should the buyer wish to supply their own materials, the seller is not responsible for the quality
of said materials.
2.6 The seller is pleased to accommodate any specific requirements in the colour of beads,
ribbons or other trims used. The seller accepts no responsibility in respect of such matters and
the final design decision is deemed to have been made by the buyer.
2.7 The seller supplies suggested care instructions only. The seller cannot be responsible for the
condition of goods once they have left the studio or for any fault that may occur due to
improper care.
